This isn’t really proof destiny was a good game, but it did make the game feel good and honestly it’s annoying to still find people who defend the appalling state that both destiny and destiny 2 are still in. Large parts of the game are literally left behind for newer brighter updates and the makers of the game dont even consider their playerbase unless it has to do with nerfing some gun or ability for PvP balance when quite often there wasn’t a problem at all. Granted there were times when they did listen to the community over some matters there is also the fact that their content releases are amazingly few and far in between with such a large ammount of man power at their disposal, its saddening.
People still defend them because they are called bungie, but the original heads of bungie dont even work at bungie anymore, most of them moved to 343. Hell the original story writer for destiny was fired before destiny even releases and everyone acts as if its fine.
It’s not fine! Destiny could have been way better and instead we got this barely lit trash fire with a handful of die hard hobos cluttered around it. Destint isn’t the worst thing in the world, but I wish it was better.

People always gloss over how mentally damaging it can be to work in retail. I fucking hate that whenever I say “I could never work in retail again” someone has to reply “You snowflake millennials can’t take a starter job because you have to INTERACT with other people” No. Fuck you. I’ve worked as a planetarium host. I’ve worked as a public speaker. I’ve worked as a tutor and as a student teacher. I can work with people. I can work with crowds. Retail was fucking different. Retail was being treated as a subhuman. Retail was being treated so poorly that you have anxiety attacks before work. Having to work retail was a factor in my last suicide attempt. If I hear you say one fucking word about retail workers playing the victim I will personally break every bone in your body. Fuck You.
The holidays are coming up. Retail workers are going to be spiraling into a nightmare beyond human comprehension. If you’ve worked retail, you know this. If you haven’t, be aware of it. Please be kind to every retail worker you come across. Please be patient and understanding. It is misery out there.
Retail is fucked, I use to work for a Safeway a couple years ago, this was a brand new Safeway in a rich part of town that everyone drove literally across the valley to come to because of our opening sales, business was crazy and generally people were respectful, but fuck our managers were leave drivers, if we weren’t moving at lightning speeds we were wasting their money, I will admit it was nice to lose 25 pounds doing the work but the emotional constant stress was too much.
